数字媒体与交互设计学院简介

 

    数字媒体与交互设计学院以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导,坚持“学科为本、专业为用”的原则,以学校办学定位为依归,在多学科协调发展的格局下,全面提高艺术设计专业办学水平。以学科为依托,以就业为导向,以改革创新为动力,打造学科特色,面向粤港澳大湾区和广东经济社会发展重大需求,培养以传统艺术和海洋文化的积淀研习为专业特色,具有良好专业素养,掌握现代艺术设计的基本知识,实践能力强,创新创业思维活跃,综合素质高,具有专业特色竞争力的艺术设计类高级应用型人才。学院提炼了“三新三强”理念和原则贯穿于学院人才培养、学科建设、专业建设、社会服务、产教融合等全过程,形成了自身的特色和核心竞争力,是“以本为本”的新时代高校教育思想的具体实践和有益探索。目前开设有数字媒体艺术和环境设计两个专业,在校生800余人。2018-2021届毕业生就业率连续四年获学校就业创业工作一等奖。

    学院现有一支专兼结合、结构合理的高水平教师队伍。学院现有教职工47人,其中专任教师37人,教授3名,副教授9名,专任教师中具有硕士学位、博士学位的33人,占比89.2%;专任教师中具有中级以上专业技术职务或硕士及以上学位36人,占比97.3%;具备创作或研发等行业实践经验的主讲教师占全部教师的比例100%;本专业有25名双师双能型教师,大部分教师具有工程背景,实战经验丰富。近年来学院教师获教育部人文社会科学研究项目3项,省部级教科研项目50项,校级教科研41项,指导学生在各类比赛中获奖254项,出版著作(教材)18部,在各级专业刊物发表论文87篇,取得各种相关专利45项。

目前学院已建设2000多平方米的校内实训基地,包括VR虚拟仿真实训平台、年画教学实训室、美术馆、动漫平台实训室、数码设计实训室等10个校内实训室,校企合作单位及校外实践教学基地10多个。各专业的实践教学按照不同专业特点,结合该专业理论教学,科学地设置实训项目,形成较为完整、科学的实训体系,实训课开课率达到教学大纲要求的100%,具体包括专业课中的实践课、实验课、把理论知识和实践操作的环节结合起来,在实战中得到提高。此外,还安排进行校外专业实习,在专业教师的指导下,组织学生进行专业写生、专业考察、市场调研以及专业实践,把理论与实践结合起来,把专业与市场结合起来,把实习与就业结合起来,从而取得良好的教学效果。

    在学校“十四五”规划框架下,学院将以数字媒体艺术专业为建设重点,加强本科专业教学条件和师资队伍建设,不断丰富内涵建设,同时根据学校的总体部署和安排,力争在“十四五”期间建设三个艺术设计类本科专业,初步形成具有航海特色的艺术设计专业群,艺术设计学院在校生规模拟达到1500人以上,更好地服务于以粤港澳大湾区和珠三角经济区为核心的区域经济和文化发展。积极尝试利用网络教育资源并通过大规模开放在线课程(慕课,MOOCs)、小规模私有在线课程(SPOCs)、翻转课堂等形式实现优质教学资源共享,逐步形成本科、硕士贯通的艺术设计教育体系。同时,探索与兄弟院校、国内外院校建立学分互认、联合实践、学生交换等跨地域、跨学校的联合人才培养机制,通过师生互换、学者互访、合作办学、合作研究、学术会议等形式加强国际交流与合作,进一步提高教育教学质量,利用优质高等教育资源、完善教育多元结构体系,逐步形成鲜明的办学特色。


 The Introduction of the School of Art and Design

In order to improve the education level,the school of art and design insist on the principle of “Discipline oriented,Major oriented”,which is guided by President Xi Jinping’s socialist thoughts with Chinese characteristics in the new era, based on the school-running position,and under the pattern of coordin-ated develop-ment of multi-disciplines.Relying on disciplines,taking employment as the orien-tation,taking reform and innovation as the driving force,crea-ting discipline charac-teristics,facing the needs of The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay    Area and Guangdong’s economic and social develop-ment,we aim to cultivate the professional talents who study for the traditional arts and marine culture,have pro-fessional quality,master the basic knowled-ge of modern art design,have strong practical ability,active creative and entrepreneurial thinking,high overall quality, and advanced application-oriented art design.The school has refined the concept and principle of "Three New and Three Strong" through the whole process of talent cultivation,discipline cons-  truction,social service,integration of industry and  education,and has formed our own characteristics and core competitiveness.It is the educational thoughts and specific practices and useful explorations based on the concept of “Undergraduate Student-Oriented”.Currently,there are two directions of digital medi-a art major,including derivatives design and space design,and there are 745 students.The employment rate of 2020 graduates was 93.42%,which won the   first prize in our University.

The school has a team of high-level teachers with a combination of full-time and part-time,we have 44 teachers, including 37 full-time teachers,2 pro-fessors,and 7 associate professors.Among the full-time teachers,33 people have the master's degree or the doctoral degrees,accounting for 89.2%.There are 35 full-time    teachers with intermediate or above professional technical positions or master's   degree or above,accounting for 94.6%; Teachers with practi-cal experience of in-dustries account for100%;there are 25 double professionally-titled teachers.Most of them have engineering background and rich  prac-tical experience.In recent yea-rs,the teachers have conducted 3 humanities and social science research projects of the Ministry of Education,20 ministerial and provincial-level research projects,32 school-level research projects,guiding students to win 142 awards in various competitions,and publishing 14 book-s (textbooks).Published 87 papers in profes-sional journals at all levels and obtained 32 related patents.

At present,the school has built more than 2,000 square meters of campus traning bases,including 10 training rooms,such as VR simulation training pla-tfom,art gallery,animation training platform,digital design training room,school-enterprise cooperation unit and off-campus training bases and so on.There are more than 10 practice teaching bases.

The practical teaching of each major is based on the characteristics of differ-ent majors,combined with the theoretical teaching of the major,and scien-tifically set up practical training projects to form a relatively complete and scientific training system.The opening rate of practical training courses reach    100% of the requi-rements of the syllabus,specifically including professional courses.Combining th-eoretical knowledge and practical operation links in    practical courses,experimen-tal courses,and improved in actual combat.In addition,to achieve good teaching  results.it also arranges for off-campus profes-sional internships.Under the guidan-ce of professional teachers,organize students to conduct professional sketching,  professional inspections,market resear-ch and professional practice,combining theory with practice,combining major with the market,and combining internship with employment.

Under the university’s “14th Five-Year Plan” framework,the school will focus on digital media art major,strengthen undergraduate professional teach-ing conditions and faculty construction,and continuously enrich the connotation construction. At the same time,according to the university’s overall arran-gements,The major of environmental design was successfully applied in 2020,the major will enroll undergraduate students in 2021,and the school strive to build three undergraduate majors during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period,and initially form a professional group of art and design with maritime characte-ristics,have more than 1500 students.To better serve the regional economy and culture of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Pe-arl River Delta Economic Zone.Actively try to use online education resources and realize the sharing of high-quality teaching resources through large-scale open online courses (MOOCs),small-scale private online courses (SPOCs),flipped classrooms,etc.,and gradually form an art design education system that integrates undergraduates and masters at the same time,explore the establishment of cross-regional and cross-school joint talent training mechanisms such as mutual recognition of credits,joint practice,and student exchange with brother universities and domestic and foreign universities.Through teacher-student exchange,scholar exchange,cooperative education,coo-perative research.Strengthen international exchanges and cooperation in the form of academic con-ferences,further improve the quality of education,make full use of high-quality higher education resources,improve the diversified educational structure sy-stem,and gradually form distinctive education characteristics.
